As you know we are suffering from interference on the HF bands from next doors BT Vision system which uses devices to send data round the home electrics. It radiates over 200m and makes 5 megs unusable and causes noise on other bands!
It is important we all stick together before devices like these make the bands unusable, if it does not affect you now it could well do shortly.

On friday we had our visit from a very nice man from OFCOM who was able to visit our neighbours and confirm the BT Homeplugs were the cause of the interference. He also visited another local amateur who is experiencing the same problems. OFCOM are now starting to get alot of complaints about these devices and seem to be taking the matter seriously. Please have a listen on 5mhz and other shortwave frequencies to see if you are indeed affected and, if you are, report the matter. The more this problem is brought to attention the better chance we have of not making the situation worse for the HF bands!!
